CHFS Standards of Practice Manual

Before launch, this manual was not available online in a format that was easy for staff to use in the field. The project turned a critical standards resource into a searchable, mobile-friendly website that made documentation easier to access during home visits, in court, and away from the office.

The value of this project was simple: make essential guidance available wherever the work was actually happening.

I led UX, design, and full‑stack development for manuals‑sp‑chfs.ky.gov, shaping the experience around counselors and other field staff who needed reliable access to policy outside the office. The site was structured to support fast chapter‑level navigation, section‑level reading, on‑site search, and easier access to supporting documentation, making the manual significantly more usable on mobile devices and in time‑sensitive situations, and I provided SharePoint training so staff could manage and update the manual confidently after launch.
