KBN needed a modern site that made complex regulatory information easier to find and understand. The redesign restructured the information architecture, consolidated outdated content, and introduced a clearer visual system so visitors could get to the right information with less effort.

Clear structure often does more for usability than visual complexity ever could.

I led the design and information architecture, starting with stakeholder input, a content audit, and research into other state boards. From there, I defined a new navigation model, created an accessible, mobile‑first interface, and implemented the build as a custom SharePoint master page with tailored layouts, XSLT, and CSS, plus training for KBN staff to keep the site sustainable.
